Alrighty, well time for a little review on the Calgary Expo

Day 1
The first day was a little disappointing, we've had people looking but no one was interested in buying the comic book. ~BioWolf had some issues with the printing of his comic book and wasn't going to be ready until tomorrow so he didn't have anything ready for the Expo.

Around the end of the day I've had three books sold, it wasn't much but it was a start, I had a lot of people pickign up my business cards and made comments bout my company name (most of the people liked it, others thought it was a little strange) and they liked my logo, so at least that part stuck out in their minds (which reminds me for next year I will be making plushies of my mascot and see how they hold up ^^)

Day 2
The second day went a lot better, even though I was late a bit to get there and I had forgotten my till box for the change. Bio's brother was a sweetheart and helped bring my change back along with Joey and the rest of us hung out and talked with people and took lots of pictures of people in costumes (some were frickin' AWESOME!)

Not to mention the second day had a lot more sales, I had (along with some help of friends) sold 8 more comics and 3 T-shirts. I could have made a killing on shirts if I had made them in men's sizes (I wasn't too sure if guys would like it but at the Expo, a lot of men were checkin it out and wanted to buy them- I shouldn't assume something like that, so I'll have men's sizes for next year XD)

Not to mention I met some people from DA there including (who was oh so nice as to wear a bunny suit with my T-shirts) and so it adding more awesome sauce to my day.

In the end I did NOT make enough money to break even (not even close hahahha... ) but with the extra copies I have, I will send to family and friends, sent one to show to co-workers and hope to sell some more at Animethon this summer and if there's any left over, I'll sell at Calgary Expo next year.

The nice thing is that I seem to have helped inspired ~BioWolf and ~scorpionridge to get prepared for the next convention, so that is a reward in itself.

In the meantime I'll be working on my website and a few things and then get started on a couple other comic projects and working for next years Teletoon Animation Scholarship!

I've got a lot of work to do, so back to the drawing board!
